Try Mercia Ferret Welfare. A lot closer to you than Scotland. They may be able to help you find someone a bit more local. http://www.mercia41.freeserve.co.uk/Mercia__Ferrex.htm Sharon

In the future, I would like to adopt a silver ferret, that looks as close to this ferret as possible (http://link.honesta.net/animal/sm_0001.jpg but it can also have a cute little mask like this (http://www.ferretdepot.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/FP199.jpg <><><> Any ferret breeders working on this color?<><><>

I am looking for a silver because its my favorite ferret color. Of course, if I were to find a silver and it isn't healthy with a good temperment I wont adopt him or her, especialy without the knowledge to help the ferret. But basicaly, im just taking my time to find my dream color, keeping my fingers crossed. Also keeping my fingers crossed for a kit, because I have experience raising young animals and enjoy the bonding very much.

Hi, was having a look in bothwell rspca, they have a nice polecat jill, in good condition, although in season. she seems tame, showed no inclination to bite, even having her teeth examined. looks quite young, not much more that 2yrs i would think. Unless someone claims her for thursday, i will take her on to re-home, they take £5 and she will be microchipped before leaving me. so will be £10 all in. will of course recieve the attentions of my vas, hob as well. anyone interested please phone mandy on 01864 502378 or e mail astead1@hotmail.com

FOUND :- mature albino hob, on the new road between airdrie and motherwell(back road). Just recieved this boy, he is at least 4yrs probably older, has a very lovely temperment, has been will looked after (nicely trimmed nails) and is probably a house boy as he is very clean and has a definate odour of shampoo about him. although entire he does not appear to be an "active" boy. I would think he is a much loved pet so could everybody ask about for lost ferrets. i can be contacted on 01864502378, leave a contact number if i'm out etc. Mandy

Albino Hob re-homed, polecat Jill now available to re-home, just had her kits and promptly ate them, so not a good breeding proposition. Taken from bothwell RSPCA for assessment and placement, so breeding and history unknown. Temperament - this girl should be ideal for the person wanting a hunting ferret, she has a stubborn nature and will attempt to nip your wrist or other exposed flesh, but doesn't seem to go for fingers! She might well have some wild cross in her breeding as this seems to be their behaviour. am still working on the nipping so might have it stopped by the time she is re-homed , never know. she will only be homed to an experienced home, who understands this girls needs. when will be microchipped prior to leaving. I will require a donation of at least £10 to cover my costs, any rabbits for the rescue gratefully received! contact details:- Mandy or Davy phone 01864 502378, or e-mail astead1@hotmail.com, please head your enquiry Ferrets.

Ferret kits available from around mid-July in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland. A range of colours and sexes from good reliable working stock which would be equally at home as pets. Phone Bill Carter on 01592 773483 for details - remember to speak up as he is a bit hard of hearing!

Hello from North Uist! My Husband and I will be travelling over to Perth with our foster son for the first day of the show and we were hoping to pick up two young hob ferrets on the Friday. I see there are some young ones ready later in the month but not sure about 1st July. Any help would be much appreciated. Unfortunately we will not be able to stay until the Sunday when the clubs main activities seen to be happening, but I expect we will be members by Friday afternoon!! We will have the car and a map so within a short distance from the show ground ½ hour max should not be too much of a problem. Thanks Lou 01876 580372
